Adopt a duck for just $5 each. There’s no limit to how many you can adopt, and every duck increases your chance to win.
How it works:
On race day, all adopted ducks will be released into the stream. The first duck to cross the finish line wins the $1000 prize.
Who can participate?
Anyone, anywhere. Whether you're in Plant City or across the country, you can adopt ducks and watch the race from home. We'll be streaming the event live so your friends and family can join the excitement from anywhere.

HOW DO YOU PLAY?
Easy! Ducks are available for adoption for $5.00 each, and there is no limit to the number of ducks you can adopt!
WHEN IS THE RACE?
Our next scheduled race day is September 2nd, 2023 at 11am. The ducks will race to the finish line with the current. If your duck reaches the finish line first you will win the $1000 cash prize!
WHO CAN PLAY?
The races will be broadcast LIVE on our Plant City Main Street Facebook page so family and friends from ANYWHERE can adopt ducks and play along. You do not have to be present on derby day to win!
All proceeds from the Downtown Duck Derby go to Plant City Main Street, as we work to revitalize our historic downtown.
